Change of plans

So we are not going to be reading A HOMEMADE LIFE instead we are going to be reading Never Let Me Go. I havent picked this one up yet and time is running out! I better get to the library soon and get it, so I can finish it before our meeting :)

P.S. Im still reading A HOMEMADE LIFE but it will probably take me longer than I had expected now that its not "required".

A HOMEMADE LIFE

Thats the title of the new book im reading. Its by Molly Wizenberg, and she is also the creator of the Orangette blog. Thats all I know about it so far. This is the book lindsey pick for our book club.
Now I dont really read these kind of books because I get easily bored reading about someone else's life (haha). However I already started on this one, and so far its pretty interesting. Its also got some recipies included which I will try to make, so I'll have to post something about that once I get to that point.

Who knows maybe this will spark something in me and make me want to cook more.



Annoyed

I wonder why sometimes people think its their responsibility to let others know what is happening in my life? Given I dont think its bad all the time, but there are certain things that are meant to keep quiet and are not mean for everyone around the block to know. You know what I mean?

Life will get better soon!
(at least thats what I like to tell myself)

That Time of Year.

Its CHRISTMAS! My favorite time of the year! There's nothing better than the cold weather outside, the Christmas songs on the radio, Christmas movies on T.V...AAAAHHH how I LOVE this season! This weekend we put up our Christmas Tree and its gorgeous.

HALLOWEEN

Our halloween festivities started on friday. My dad went to work dressed up as a chilean miner and he got third place! then later that night my mom sister and I went to our family ward's trunk or treat.

On saturday I took Japer to the dog park where they had a costume contest. Jasper was Dracula.

Cut to later that night and you would have found us at lisa's family ward trunk or treat where lisa and I dressed up as ballerinas! and let me just say right now, their trunk or treat was waaay better than ours!

On sunday I went to Alki with a friend, where I got the chance to take a couple of pictures. 

And at night time my little sister ymalu went trick or treating around our neighborhood dressed up as a gypsy. Hope everyone had a great halloween!

Otoño

Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year!

I love how the trees change color and how crisp the air is...

It can't it get any better than cuddling on the couch watching my favorite movie or reading a good book. 



PAWSwalk 2010!!

On Saturday September 11th some of my friends and I did the PAWSwalk which benefits homeless animals, and it was awesome! It felt so good to do something for the community. We as a group raced $300 dollars and overall the organization raced more than $200.000 I really loved doing this and im looking forward to doing it again sometime soon :)

Life

Sometimes I feel like im not going anywhere but then something amazing happens and everything changes! I wish I had more of those amazing moments....I was starting to feel like I wasnt moving anywhere but turns out I am slowly finding my way. All I can say for right now is that im excited for the adventures ahead!
